is a project designed in association with three of the largest hotels of New Delhi Aerocity, to boost the destination as an accessible and comprehensive events hub. The official convention bureau of New Delhi Aerocity, offers impartial advice in planning a MICE or social event in this pulsating region.

Managed independently by tmf dialogue marketing in India, the three key founding partners for this project are Pullman & Novotel Aerocity, JW Marriott Aerocity and Hyatt Andaz Aerocity.

The Delhi Aerocity project, spread over 45 acres was proposed by GMR Group led Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL). Being a one-stop-shop located near the IGI Airport, Aerocity, offering a capacity of approximately 3.700 rooms, numerous entertainment and F&B options in and around the complex, is the ideal oasis for business travellers. made its successful debut in the international MICE market through its booth at IMEX in Frankfurt (April 19-21, 2016). There, we met the three General Managers: Tristan De Lomeni (Pullman & Novotel Aerocity), Antony Page (JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity) and Heddo Siebs (Andaz Delhi). We wanted to know more about AEROCITY and asked them for an interview.

1. It is your first time at IMEX in Frankfurt – what makes you come here as an exhibitor?

We are here to introduce our new project – Our aim is to make the planners get aware of India as a country where there is a lot of potential for MICE, a country which is worth considering for future events.

We didn’t send our sales department to IMEX: we wanted to be here in person. It was us who came up with the idea and so it’s obvious that it should be us to introduce the project.

2. What is so special about

There is no secure place so close by, where all brands are presented in one place.

It is a huge difference to Central Delhi: There you can’t walk between 4 or 5 hotels; you have to take the bus and this takes approximately 1 hour. At AEROCITY all is within walking distance; it takes just 15 minutes to reach the different hotels etc. and everything is air-conditioned. The rooms are of different categories, different sizes, different prices – so every organisation has the opportunity to choose the hotel which suits best.

3. What would you show every visitor coming to AEROCITY?

Definitely Delhi. It depends on what you’re looking for – but you have everything here: golf, great cuisine, diversitiy of religion and much more. There are 85 different kinds of walks; so whatever you are interested in, you will find the right thing.

But the first thing we would show every visitor: AEROCITY. AEROCITY. AEROCITY.
