According to a survey conducted by the Union of International Associations (UIA), more than two-thirds of all associations do not work together with convention and visitor bureaus – either they are not aware of their existence or do not take advantages of their services.

This should change, as CVBs can be a great support when it comes to planning events. So, CVBs have to work harder in engaging associations, they need to make associations understand what they are doing and how they can support them.
