To help event planners realize Palacongressi di Rimini’s potential, case studies of events previously held in their facilities are of great importance. Recently, Convention Bureau della Riviera di Rimini published a case study about the National AIMN Congress (Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging).
From March 2-5 2017, the 13th National AIMN Congress took place at Palacongressi Rimini. This is the third time the congress was featured at this location; the last editions were in 2011 and 2015. There were 900 participants, most of which were young people.
The planners requested 5 meetings rooms and a large exhibition space along with a catering and shuttle service. At the conference, the correct number of rooms was provided and the exhibition/poster area spanned 2.000 sqm in the Piazza Hall. Lunches were prepared and a dinner party was at a nearby beach. Naturally, a shuttle service was provided for all guests. Since the inception of the “Food for Good” initiative in 2015, Palacongressi donates all excess food to local charities and support groups, an initiative which according to AIMN event manager Manuela Bobini is becoming increasingly well-known and popular with clients.
As you can see, Palacongressi di Rimini is able to uphold all of the client’s wishes and does everything in their power to ensure the congress runs as smoothly and enjoyably as possible.
