We are pleased to announce that Hungexpo, Hungary’s biggest event venue, had the chance to host amongst others two great international exhibitions in 2014. Chemspec was held between 18-20 June with more than 400 exhibitiors and 5000 to 6000 visitors, while EuroFinance appealed around 100 exhibitors and 1500 daily visitors in the middle of October.
The international chemical exhibition and conference, Chemspec Europe organised by Quartz Chemicals, moves around Europe every year but has never been in Eastern Europe before. Budapest was firstly chosen in the region to provide unique opportunity for the neighbouring countries to show themselves and exhibit in this event and for the western countries as well to explore new markets and broaden their horizon. According to the Sales Director of the organising company, John Lane, Hungexpo has excellent facilities and all services are in line with the European standards. As a venue we find it quite important to ensure all the needed help to the organiser, including in helping with marketing, getting new contacts and in getting in touch with the Hungarian market. We are really proud to have hosted Chemspec 2014 and given another push to the developing chemical industry of the eastern economies.
EuroFinance – the leading global provider of conferences, training and research on cash management, treasury and risk – organised its flagship conference at Hungexpo. The leading global treasury event called International Cash & Treasury Management was challenging to us as it was always hosted in Western European countries. The whole organisational process took almost 3 years as, in one hand, Hungexpo has exclusivity on major services, but on the other hand, EuroFinance also has long business relationship with some companies, to which their clients stick to. Finally, we managed to agree and cooperated on a very successful event together and fulfilled the financial sector’s high standards and expectations. Thanks to our multifunctional Hall G and F we were able to solve the complexitiy of EuroFinance. Next to the 100 exhibitors’ stands we built small, medium and large meeting rooms in the same area, while more than 1500 participants had lunch conveniently in the catering area. After each conference day guests were transferred to the city centre where they could choose among Budapest’s cool bars and fancy restaurants and enjoy the inspiring nightlife of Hungary’s capital.
Regarding both events we can gladly state that Hungexpo’s unique green surroundings and the luckily good weather highly contributed to the satisfaction of all participants. The guests were pleased to spend their coffee breaks during the conference in the 36 hectare landscaped area, experiencing the relaxing atmosphere of our venue.
