The Slovenian Convention Bureau is the right contact person for those planning an event in Slovenia. The SCB provides information and helps in finding the optimal location for the event, advise on how they can connect with most suitable partner and forwarding their inquiries to SCB members.

We are presenting you the first 5 partners joining the Slovenian Convention Bureau at IMEX: Adria Airways, Austria Trend Hotel Ljubljana 4* superior, CD Congress Centre Ljubljana, GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre and Ljubljana Tourism/Convention Bureau.

Adria Airways boasts more than fifty years of experience in charter and scheduled services. They connect Slovenia to numerous European cities and provide access to a global network of flights to 193 countries. 170 flights are scheduled from Ljubljana a week. Austria Trend Hotel Ljubljana 4* superior. The congress centre is equipped with high technology equipment and offers conference possibilities for a capacity for up to 1000 delegates and 250 rooms for its guest. The hotel has an in-house TV production service and all halls are equipped with projection screens. Important events have taken place in the hotel such as the EGLSF – the International human rights conference with 200 delegates, which was concluded with a reception with the Mayor of Ljubljana. CD Congress Centre Ljubljana offers 22 halls with the maximum plenary of 2.000 people. This makes it the largest purpose-built congress centre in Slovenia with auditorium-style seating. CD has been ranked second best among the congress centres of New Europe – the enlarged family of Conventa 2015 pool of partners. They announced that 2015 is a great congress year as it is hosting 25 international meetings and congress-related events such as the “EUPSA 2015”, the 16th European Congress of Paediatric Surgery “SLOVENIA 2015”. The GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre offers 20 multifunctional halls and an external exhibition space of 8,844 square metres. The rooms can be arranged so that they can host at the same time meetings from 15 to 6.000 delegates. The largest seating capacity is for 2.200 delegates. GR welcomes approximately 400,000 visitors every year. Large congresses take place in GR. Kenes International for example, which in 2010 brought to the GR the world congress on autoimmunity with 1200 participants as the congress of the year in Slovenia, is coming back in September 2015 due to its excellent experience. Ljubljana Tourism/Convention Bureau is the first contact of impartial and expert advice and information when looking for meeting venues, suppliers and services in the capital of Slovenia. Last year Ljubljana has recorded a good number of regional, European and international association congresses with an attendance between 500 and 1,200 delegates that were well visible in the city and generated important income in the destination. The year 2015 also promises to be a positive one. In April Ljubljana was awarded with the WTTC Tourism for Tomorrow Destination Award. Meet with them at IMEX.
