Are you aware that there is a congress or symposium for almost every fruit you know of? We were quite surprised when we started to do some research. Be it the banana, raspberry, cherry, grape or strawberry – every fruit has its own congress. In the next weeks, we will introduce to you some of these.

Right now, it’s citrus’s turn… From September 18 to 23, 2016, the XIII International Citrus Congress (ICC) is taking place in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil. Around 1,000 delegates from 25 countries worldwide meet to discuss current developments of the citrus. There are a great number of workshops and poster sessions. The topics are among others: “Economics, trade and marking policies”, “Research for innovation strategies”, “Citrus and human health” and “Juice processing and biochemistry”.

Our partner Palacongressi di Rimini just informed about another big “fruit” congress which is going to be held at their venue: They won the bid to host the “IX International Strawberry Symposium” in 2020. Congratulations!! Read more about it here.
