The Hong Kong Tourism Board will be present at IMEX Frankfurt (stand B350) with the largest-ever delegation from the city. We have collected for you different tips from the Hong Kong partners, their own personal recommendations for event planners and friends, for new inspiration and as a good reason for you to see the Hong Kong Partners at IMEX!

5. Ms. Ivy Sung, Managing Director for Faces of Hong Kong Limited

“I would like to share my personal favorite experiences in Hong Kong with you. During weekends, I like to take the tram up to the Peak and doing Tai Chi at the Peak while enjoying the panoramic view of Hong Kong which refreshes me. Then I go to Central to enjoy a nice local dim sum lunch at local Chinese restaurants. After lunch, I have my ‘cultural and historical’ walk to work out all the fat I have just built up during lunch. Up the Central Mid-levels Escalator – the world’s longest covered outdoor escalator, then visiting the Cat Street’s boutiques and Man Mo Temple.

Later in the afternoon, I love having afternoon tea in Hong Kong style with egg tarts, enjoy wonton noodle at an award-winning family restaurant, or enjoy a nice cup of the famous Hong Kong Milk Tea. Since I am passionate about food, I can provide you more information for the best food(s) to be found in Hong Kong and experiencing it the local way. Come meet me at IMEX! I will be grateful to share the exciting new ideas for programs in Hong Kong matching the expectations of your delegates.”

6. Ms. Jasmine Chan, Sales Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

“There was a time when the word meetings would conjure images of dark, windowless rooms that had all the charm of a prison cell. The coffee was stale, if you were lucky, and participants were meant to stay awake on a steady supply of sugar and caffeine.

When Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong was still in the infancy of its design, we knew we wanted to offer something different for our guests. Meetings should be a place to connect, learn and engage. To do that, you should have a space that inspires. Indeed, today you will find much of our 2000 sq. meters of event space flooded with natural light from floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views over Victoria Harbour. If the natural beauty wasn’t enough to motivate a spirited meeting, our Executive Chef Andrea Accordi is ready to cook up unique, tailor-made coffee breaks, sure to keep your guests healthy, happy and full of energy. Modest, bite-sized pieces like mini muffins topped with egg salad, smoked fish on blini, and low-carb vegetarian dim sum satiate hunger without weighing you down.

And don’t worry, we haven’t left the coffee out of “coffee break”.  Whether it is a flat white, cappuccino or black cup of joe you are craving, we have the quality java to keep you awake and energized throughout the day.”
