Today, we would like to give you a general introduction of the four-star Slovenian hotel: What awaits you there, why is Hotel Plesnik perfectly suitable for meetings, events and incentives?
First of all, it is situated in an amazing area, namely the Logarska dolina. This is a gorgeous valley in the Solčavsko region which is surrounded by the mighty peaks of Kamnik-Savinja Alps. It is located far away from cities and their noise, in an undisturbed natural environment.
Solčavsko, including the Logar Valley received the European Destination of Excellence in 2009, which in a unique way combines nature conservation with the life of the locals and the curiosity of visitors from all over the world. Moreover, for the successful management of the protected area, the park received the award CIPRA Future in the Alps.
Although in a peaceful area, Hotel Plesnik is easy accessible by road through the village Solčava and in the summer months also from the Austrian side, through Eisenkappel over the pass Pavličevo sedlo (Paulitschsattel). If you arrive by plane, the Ljubljana Airport as well as the Austrian airport Klagenfurt are approximately a 1 hour-drive away.
Worth mentioning: the up-to-date conference facilities. The hotel offers a modern conference hall that can accommodate up to 100 people and which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology: projector, screen, Wi-Fi, sound system, flip chart, notebook etc. Conference halls are air-conditioned. The biggest hall, called BREST can be used for a variety of workshops, divided into two smaller soundproof halls named LIPA and TISA. The team works professionally: each event is organized individually and the employees adapt to the clients’ wishes.
Hotel Plesnik received a Meeting Star certificate of excellence; it was among the top ten boutique meeting hotels in 2014. Kongres Magazine awarded the Meetings Star award for outstanding contributions in the field of marketing communication of destinations, congresses, events and meetings industry suppliers in South East Europe.
The hotel offers together with its outhouse Palenk 41 rooms. Thus, it is perfectly suitable for larger groups as you can book the whole hotel just for you. You can also find more accommodation nearby. The chefs serve local, healthy food. They get the food from local farmers, no artificial additives are used. During the breaks participants can enjoy their coffee and breathe fresh air on the hotel’s terrace, from where you have a magnificent view of Alps, the meadows and forests.
In terms of recreation there is nothing to complain about. After a long meeting day, recreation is very important. Fill up your energy in the Plesnik Wellness Center: relaxing massages, whirlpool, sauna, body and face treatment, solarium and a pool from which you can watch the valley.
You are interested in incentives? Hotel Plesnik is a perfect option, as it offers a variety of activities for groups which you shouldn’t miss out: indoor and outdoor, for summer and winter. In our next article we will introduce some of them.
