In its constant attempts to promote the destination, Intours DMC organizes famtrips on a regular basis. In April 2015 for example, Intours DMC arranged a four-day famtrip for 29 high-end clients from 10 European countries, taking them on a journey through Slovenia and the Croatian peninsula of Istria to showcase the very best of the region.
Highlights of the trip included a traditional pletna boat ride to spectacular Lake Bled, cycling through the green Slovenian capital of Ljubljana, before driving through the Karst region in oldtimers and on for some truffle, cheese and olive tasting in inland Istria and oyster tasting on the Istrian coast. Additional gems included exploring the historic town of Rovinj and discovering the underground world of Postojna Cave. Besides exploring special venues in Slovenia and Croatia, the famtrip participants had the opportunity to experience the high quality of service in the historic Art Nouveau Grand Hotel Union, the luxury Kempinski Hotel Palace and the design hotel Lone.
The luxury tour, with a hand-picked itinerary by Intours, was designed to show its guests the rich potential and huge diversity of the meeting industry offer in the Adriatic region.
