Are you an office worker? Then you are probably, as most of your like-minded, sitting most of the day at your desk or in meetings. We all know that this is extremely unhealthy: As soon as we sit down, calorie burning drops, electrical activity in leg muscles shut down and fat burning enzymes decrease by 90%.

Jane Smith of EY’s corporate real estate team, suggests four ways to make meetings healthier.

1. “Stand and deliver”: hold a meeting in standing

2. “Take it to the streets”: think about a walking meeting in the fresh air

3. “I was told there’d be cake?”: Be the person who brings fruits to meetings

4. “Shake it up baby”: Get everyone moving during meetings
