The airline alliance SkyTeam recently announced the launch of a new stop round-the-world ticket.

SkyTeam explained: “The new option is perfect for regular travellers who require multi-destinations itineraries (…) and the perfect solution for those with important meetings in one country, one afternoon, and a presentation in another the same week”.

Travellers can book the ticket seven days in advance and it is valid for all Skyteam’s 20 member carriers, in economy, business or first class.

To give an example of a two-stop itinerary: a flight guest starting in New York, travelling to Paris, then Shanghai and finally back to New York, pays an economy fare starting from US$5,650.
