Indrė Leškuvienė, Operations Manager Novotel Vilnius Centre, and Gina Gurčinė, Novotel Sales Executive for Lithuania, share their thoughts about the Novotel Vilnius Centre, as well as Vilnius as a whole.

1. What is special about the Novotel Vilnius Centre – what is your strength when it comes to organizing a meeting or incentive?

Gina Gurčinė, Novotel Sales Executive for Lithuania:
The Novotel Vilnius Centre is situated in the historical and commercial heart of Vilnius. Business travelers will find major financial institutions, business and government departments close by. Novotel Vilnius Centre on the so-called Champs Elysees of Vilnius is also perfect for exploring the romantic streets of the Old Town.

Our hotel has been operating in the Baltics since 2004. During those years we have gained invaluable experience in many fields, conferences included.

Though our conference centre is not considered big (190 sq. m), it is one of the most popular among the hotels in the city centre. We provide ideal solutions for all types of meetings by following our promises: instant availability, hassle free, dedicated support, and wellbeing. In our innovative conference environment, one will always find a dedicated coordinator for the meeting who is always available at the number 800, balanched and nourished conference catering option, and of course a friendly helpful staff.

2. What are the greatest benefits of Vilnius as a city in the eyes of international planners? Give us 3 key reasons why YOU think it is worth it to come here with a group.

Indrė Leškuvienė, Operations Manager Novotel Vilnius Centre:

  1. The rapidly expanding Hotel Sector. Over 1200 rooms will be built by well known international chains within the next 2 years in Vilnius. There is no scope for doubt in the quality and expertise of the services they deliver.
  2. Vilnius is a tiny city with close to 540,000 inhabitants and the land spands over 401km2 where all locations are reachable in no more than half an hour. Another bonus is that everyone will find their own place of interest: beautiful churches, monuments of art from different epochs, museums, castles, modern art venues, theatres, clubs etc. and no vehicle is needed! Where else can you experience this?
  3. When comparing Vilnius to other capital cities, prices for services and goods are lower. Meeting planners can be certain they will get great quality for reasonable prices.

3. What is your personal hotspot in the city? Where do you go on a weekend with your family to enjoy the local spirit?

Indrė Leškuvienė, Operations Manager Novotel Vilnius Centre:
My personal hotspot is Vingis Park. It has the largest possible area for various leisure activities, especially jogging, cycling or roller skating. My family goes there very often on weekends as everyone can find their own activity or simply lay on the grass and relax with a book and homemade sandwich. We love this place due to its unique spirit, vast spaces, green areas, and healthy lifestyle.

Stay tuned for more upcoming interviews!
