An exciting and informative Education Programme is on offer for CONVENE 2017 (8-9 February). This year’s list of guest speakers features a number of international meetings industry figures from around Europe who are eager to share and inspire industry professionals from across the Baltic Sea Region.

With thirteen different education sessions spread over the course of the two-day event, CONVENE’s Education Programme will touch on a variety of hot topics and provide audiences with valuable new insights. Timo Heinaro from Seikkailu Oy Fincentive will guide the audience from the fundamentals of incentive travel through to designing a smart and effective incentive campaign. John Martinez from Shocklogic, one of the top movers and shakers in UK events industry, will answer questions related to technology for event  organisers, Laurent Fuchs, Executive Director at United Networks of International Corporate Event Organizers, will lead a panel discussion on corporate client needs and product promotion. Dominik Ochs, from communications agency, Grüne Neun, will present the benefits of sustainability in event management, Johanna Fischer from tmf dialogue marketing will explain how to use content marketing to increase client interest and create audience demand (Thursday, 13:30-14:15: “Communication Strategy and Stories in the Meetings Industry: Can You Sense What Your Audience Wants to Read?”), and James Latham from Fred Production Company will share his experience why business events have become so strategically important to destinations.

We have also arranged ‘Meet the Expert’ sessions to complement the CONVENE Education Programme. These informal sessions will take place on a drop-in basis, allowing participants to ask our featured experts specific questions and engage in fruitful discussions.

CONVENE’s Event Director, Jolanta Beniuliene promises something for everyone with the Education Programme, saying: ‘We have a lot of notable speakers exploring engaging themes we can all benefit from hearing about. The CONVENE Education Programme is an integral part of our event, and we’re excited to serve as a meeting place for ideas and dialogue.’

Organised by the Vilnius Convention Bureau, CONVENE serves as a business marketplace with non-stop networking opportunities for meeting professionals. The event gathers Baltic Sea meeting and events industry suppliers and buyers from across Europe together under one roof and encourages knowledge and best practice sharing. Over 160 Hosted Buyers from all over Europe are attending CONVENE 2017, with an estimated 3,500 pre-scheduled business meetings with some 80 exhibitors from the region to be conducted over the two-day event.

The fifth edition of CONVENE will be held at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO in Vilnius on 8-9 February, 2017. Visitors who would like to take part in the event can register online now at www.convene.lt.
