It was an unforgettable evening for all guests: on February 15, the world première of the new Ferrari V12 took place in Italy, Cernobbio, more precisely in Villa Erba. The car launch is a great case study for Villa Erba being a place that hosts extraordinary events and congresses every year.

On this said event, Ferrari clients from all over the globe gathered at the Villa to admire the new race car. They all spent an exciting time, with speeches, a great programme, live music and much more. The highlight of the evening: the unveiling of the formular 1 car with racing drivers Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen aboard.

Please read here what Ferrari reported about the event:

“A spectacular location in the form of the Villa Erba on Lake Como, once the summer home of the great director Luchino Visconti who finished editing his masterpiece “Ludwig” there. However, the star of this particular evening was the GTC4Lusso, Ferrari’s new 12-cylinder four-seater, four-wheel drive which was unveiled at this private evening prior to its official public premiere at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

After a presentation of the new car’s features, dancers representing its central concepts of elegance, luxury, versatility, technological innovation and performance, and accompanied by a live orchestra, provided the build-up to the high point of the evening: the unveiling. At the end of their performance, the GTC4Lusso itself, clothed in an elegant Tailor Made Nuovo Grigio Ferro Met livery, took centre stage with Scuderia Ferrari drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen aboard.

After two further GTC4Lussos – in contrasting Rosso California and Bianco Italia liveries – made a dramatic entrance, the guests were addressed by Ferrari chairman Sergio Marchionne and CEO Amedeo Felisa before getting the opportunity to admire Maranello’s latest creation first-hand.

Last but very far from least, having made their way through an immersive “museum experience” inspired by the concepts of infotainment and luxury, the clients enjoyed dinner in one of the Villa’s spectacularly frescoed halls.”
