The Union Hotels Group consists of four hotels in the centre of the Slovenian capital Ljubljana: the Grand Hotel Union, the Grand Hotel Union Business, the Hotel Lev and the Central Hotel. They have a capacity of 574 hotel rooms and 30 different size halls and meeting rooms that can suit many types of meetings and events. They especially take pride in the recently restored Art Nouveau banqueting hall.
We are happy to bring forward today two great congress case studies from the Union hotels in Slovenia.
1. 21st EUMASS Congress and the 4th International Congress of Medical Assessors was held in the Union Hotels in Ljubljana between June 9th and June 11th, 2016. The congress was organized by key institutions in the field of sick leave certification, disability evaluation and vocational rehabilitation in Slovenia.

The Organising Committee had succeeded well in marketing the event and attracted a number of delegates that exceeded all expectations.
The venue sight at hotel Union was a good choice that could accommodate all the needs of the congress, well situated in the center of the beautiful town of Ljubljana. Many of the congress delegates seized the opportunity of spending an extra day there just to see the city.”
2. 15th annual European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Congress
The congress took place in Ljubljana in June 2016. It was organised by the European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and the European College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
The Congress was held in the Grand Hotel Union, a luxurious 4-star hotel boasting a premier location
