World Obesity Federation is bringing you its latest newsletter. In this edition, WOF is informing about the exciting Action Initiative that has just been launched.

The purpose of the Action Initiative is to stimulate and support practical actions to help people achieve and then maintain a healthy weight. In this way we hope to stimulate the reversal of the obesity crisis.

We are launching the Action Initiative with seven programs all aimed to meet a particular need, around obesity.

  • Obesity Image Bank
  • Knowledge Exchange Portal
  • Obesity Leadership Programme for Young Investigators
  • World Obesity Policy Laboratory
  • Healthy Venues

How can your organisation get involved?

  • Join the Action Initiative as an Advocate
  • Get involved in creating the World Obesity Action Declaration
  • Promote World Obesity Day on the 11th October 2015

We are launching the Action Initiative to stimulate awareness and increase understanding of the very practical and effective actions that can be taken to combat the obesity crisis.

By supporting one or more of the calls to action you can actively get involved and become part of the global movement to combat obesity.
