“Great journeys are never about the destination.”
writes Benjamin Myers in ‘The Offing’.
In his recent book, “INCENTIVE TRAVEL for a New World” (2021), Dr Patrick Patridge discussed the significance of CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility, Eco-Sustainability, Environment Protection, and Biodiversity Conservation as they apply to future models of Incentive Travel.
This new book broadens the subject matter to include the MICE sector as a whole – i.e., Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Business Events.
Changing the ways we market and promote MICE destinations; the ways we organise business, scientific and association events; and the ways we plan, organise and deliver meetings & incentive trips to help protect society & the environment – is what “ecomice” is about.
And there is no time like the present to start effecting these changes.
“ecomice” means sustainable and responsible planning, trip design, and event delivery for the MICE sector.
“ecomice” can assist because it employs responsible & sustainable MICE concepts, strategies, and solutions to educate, inform, engage & motivate people – irrespective of wherever they work, or whatever they do.
A welcome book for MICE event planners, CVBs, DMOs, DMCs, PCOs; corporate and association decision-makers; educators, government policy makers, all interested persons, and MICE industry stakeholders.
