Croatia Tourism /Convention Bureau and tmf dialogue marketing invite qualified professional European meeting or event planners to become part of a special delegation for a site inspection to Croatia – from October 24-27, 2019!

You can look forward to a spectacular MICE programme including the capital Zagreb, Istria, the Kvarner Bay and Opatija!

The program will focus on business expertise available in businesses in Croatia and a discovery of Croatian Food Specialities – both very important elements to plan events! Croatia is famous for their locally grown, ecologic or organic, homemade foods: vegetables, truffles, wine, olive oil, oysters and many more. Food, local producers and local specialties will be an important part of our program, which will be intense and business-focussed.

The itinerary covers Zagreb – Istria – Kvarner Bay and Opatija – details of the activities will be uncovered in the next days.

Zagreb, the capital:

On Thursday 24.10.19 in the morning you will fly to Zagreb, where an afternoon program will connect you with interesting companies and projects after lunch. Next morning the program continues including life experience of the products available around Zagreb and then a luxury Minibus will take the delegation to Istria (about 3 hours drive).

… is famous for it’s truffles, you will learn (and experience by yourself), how they are harvested and how good they taste! There are a few new developments in the hotel sector in Croatia which will be introduced first-hand there.

Kvarner Bay and Opatija:

Along the Kvarner Bay the delegation will be travelling on to Opatija for more discovery. You will see why this area and the city Opatija are so attractive for events, with a stunning natural beauty and history, many program ideas and contemporary hotel and venue infrastructure.

On Sunday 27.10. in the afternoon, transfers will be organised for flights back home.

Please note that costs for flights and program are covered by Croatia Tourism, however, transport to /from the airport in your destination is in your responsibilty. We have limited space, so the organiser will keep the right to final decision of participants. We look into organisers of business events, meetings, congresses and executive groups.
