September marks another busy month at the Palacongressi di Rimini – 20 events are planned and are expected to attract over 20,000 visitors!
A large portion of the events are themed around music – the “Sagra Musicale Malatestiana Festival” has started at the very end of August and spans well into September. This festival hosts many different events at a number of different venues like the Palacongressi itself. The festival’s history spans back to 1950, when Rimini was celebrating the 500th centenary as well as the reconstruction of the Templo Malatestiano following the war. Since then, the festival has not only been a great celebration of classical music but also Rimini’s “capacity to endure, adapt, and grow.” Palacongressi hosted concerts given by the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, the Accademica Nazionale of Santa Cecilia, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Saint Petersburg and the Orchestra of the city of Bologna.
Next, comes the “Sintonie High-End Video Exhibition” from the 22nd to 23rd of September. This two day event will be celebrating its 20th anniversary within the Palacongressi’s walls. Sintonie High-End Video Exhibition will preview some of the top Italian Hi-Fi brands’ new products.
