Tuesday May 8, saw a successful gathering of Brussels-based associations and agents with a highly motivated Business Events Team coming in from New Zealand. The event took place in beautiful Ateliér des Tanneurs in central Brussels – with summer having started this early in the city, the spacious and airy former Winepalace was the perfect place for “A Seat At The Table” – New Zealand’s unique concept of presenting the congress destination together with selected wines and matching food.

Team New Zealand Business Events was represented by Lisa Gardiner and Leonie Ashford, Tourism New Zealand, Prue Daly of the New Zealand Intl. Convention Centre in Auckland, Marija Gecan of Auckland Conventions Venues and Events and Melanie Brown, a Kiwi wine expert from London.

The New Zealand Ambassador to Belgium, Gregory Andrews, took the opportunity to support his colleagues and enjoyed the company of the guests. For association event planners who did not make to the event – meet the Team New Zealand Business Events next week in Frankfurt at IMEX.
